Gorgeous. But is flax the same as linseed, which I can just about remember from childhood in Suffolk? In my memory, no doubt flawed, linseed was more lavenderish colour and more closely planted so you couldn't actually pick out individual flowers. Oh well, back to google. Why didn't I start there?
Out of place, this, I know. But I do wonder why that gadabout Grandmother of ours always had to take her holidays with Aunt Mabel. I'm sure she would have had far more fun if she'd gone with Aunt Enid, who doesn't appear to have had a 'Seedy' day in her life.

I'm not sure but I must admit I was expecting a more intense blue, more like the linseed you can grow in the garden. Too hot to look it up in Goggle!

She did sometimes take a holiday with Reg but his seediness was akin to that of Mabel...
