A man's skull is found embedded in a concrete slab on a building site. But the rest of the victim's body has disappeared.the team decides to investigate.

Whilst investigating the death of an art critic, Brennan decides she would like to have a baby

Traumatised by the poor viewing figures, Booth and Brennan discuss how they can make the series more gruesome without arousing the ire of the Catholic Church. On a visit to Windsor Home Park, they come across the horribly mutilated body of Prince Charles, and decide to investigate.

Hope still can't believe that Liam has left Steffy to be with her. She means to make the most of their relationship and vouchsafes that she is ready to marry him just as soon as is humanly possible. Meanwhile the Royal Family have still to accept that Charles will not be coming back any time soon. Only then will they achieve closure.

Viktor asks Vladi to invade Ukraine and Vladi says YES! The EU says it will not "stand idly by" and convenes a summit meeting for early June. A particularly well scripted episode brings the season to a close.
