Of Blogs and Bloggers

After an exhaustive analysis of a large number of blogs, I have come to the conclusion that there are really three types of bloggers (and therefore blogs):

  1. Those who have something to say and are not particularly interested in the actual presentation of the blog.
  2. Those who may or may not have something to say but whose main interest is in presentation, in other words in the "computer know-how" aspect of their blog.
  3. Those who combine 1. and 2., i.e. content and form.

I fall with a resounding thud into the first category.

Needless to say, the most successful blogs, both in terms of visits and revenue, are those belonging to the third category.
