The Olympics (concluded)

Usain Bolt was first pulled over for speeding and then reprimanded for behaviour "calculated to bring the sport into disrepute". He has survived both these charges and the only hope now is that he will test positive for drugs.
I was also distressed to learn that 4 horses who contested the Olympic team show jumping event have tested positive for banned capsaicin. The horses have personally apologised to their ashen-faced riders but of course the damage is done.
These horses will never be able to show their face in public again.
Well, it's all a far cry from Eric Liddell, incidentally the only Chinese-born man to have won a gold medal in a track event.
