The Booker Prize

I was downhearted but not altogether surprised to find that my name was not among the nominees shortlisted for this year's Man Booker Prize for Fiction, Britain's most coveted literary award with a "purse" of $82,500. After all, I haven't written anything.

On the other hand, I was gratified to see that my suggestion for the stars to play the two lead roles in the forthcoming Hollywood epic The Barak Obama Story  has been well received in Beverley Hills. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are two of America's best loved actors and the general feeling is that they would be ideal in the roles of Barack and Michelle.
