Ted Kennedy

I like this story, reported by Martin F. Nolan in the columns of the IHT, that the late Ted Kennedy liked to tell against himself:

"A burly workman once accosted him, saying, 'Hey, Kennedy, I hear you never worked a day in your life." Then a pause before the punchline: "Lemme tell ya, pal, ya haven't missed a thing!'"
