Psychology Test (concluded)

When I was still a member of the "active" population, I never had the time or inclination to take much notice of the jokes, brainteasers, etc. that used from time to time to find their way into my virtual letter box. I still haven't got much time for them, to be honest; still I'm a sucker for the sort of "psychology" test I posted yesterday. Here's just one more that intrigued me:

A young girl attending her mother's funeral catches sight of a very attractive young man. It is love at first sight but she loses sight of him after the funeral.

One month later, she kills her sister. Why? Consider your answer for a few moments and then scroll down to the bottom of the page.

There are of course any number of reasons, but if by any chance you answered "she hoped that the young man would turn up at the funeral again", then you have the same mental processes as a psychopathic killer! Apparently this test was used by a famous American psychologist to find out whether particular persons had the mindset of a murderer. A large number of serial killers have in fact given the "correct" answer to this test...
