Barrow-In-Furness

One of the reasons I subscribe to the International Herald Tribune in preference to a British daily newspaper is that the IHT can more or less guarantee same-day delivery.

Another is that the IHT assumes less prior knowledge on the part of the reader and therefore is more likely to come up with articles about aspects of British life that would no doubt appear too obvious or cliché-ridden to a domestic reader, but that suit me, a long-term expatriate, down to the ground.
