The Blogosphere

To travel is to run the risk of being thrown off balance by the sheer size of the world and the huge number of people inhabiting it. It is difficult to return from any journey without a shaken awareness of one's own insignificance.

By the same token, honesty compels me to admit that a perusal of other people's blogs can be a very dispiriting experience, not because they are so bad but because they are actually in many cases so good!

If Oscar Wilde or anyone else hasn't already said it, I would like to lay claim to the following witticism: "I can forgive everything except success".
