The Ten Best Things

At this very special time of the year, when people from all walks of life are drawn together in a common sense of destiny and an untrammelled commitment to the shopping experience, I would like to share with my readers, on a global basis, my list of the Ten Best Things. This year I have decided to confine myself not just to the year 2009, nor indeed the outgoing decade, nor even my own lifetime or the history of humanity, and not even to this planet, but rather to all the planets forming part of what is sometimes referred to as the Solar System. Given such a canvas, it is almost impossible to whittle down my choice to ten, so I won't even bother.

PS. Acutely aware of the abysmal quality of the above entry, I have taken the liberty of forestalling criticism by dubbing this post "Not very interesting".
