Whatever Next?

The other day I came across a very interesting and extremely plausible article, written by an excellent journalist and researcher called Olivia Judson.

The basic thrust of the article is that those of us who think that we are reasonably fit (regular walking and/or running, etc.) are probably not so wonderful as all that if we ALSO, spend long periods sitting down, whether reading a book, watching TV or, as in my case, "working" on the computer.
