Living in the Past

Climate change is so 2009, isn't it? Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed it as much as anyone. It's been great fun and I wouldn't have missed it for the world - the march on Copenhagen, the riots, etc. But hey, this is 2010 and it's time to move on to the Next Big Thing. Talking about the Football World Cup.

Talking of which, I would be more sanguine of England's chances of success if we could build up our national squad in the same way as our glorious club sides - by writing out cheques - instead of this ridiculous insistence on nationality.
