What the Future Holds in Store

The end of the old year and the start of a new year is always a good time to look back over the previous 12 months and to take stock of all that has happened over the preceding days, weeks, months and, I was about to say, years. It is also as good a time as any to look ahead to the coming days, weeks and months and to surmise what the future holds in store, not only for you but also for me. Will the weather be fine for Kate and William's big day? Will the invading Chinese hordes be halted north of the Watford Gap? Will the British Isles be submerged by a giant tidal wave? And will I continue to be paid by the word for writing this sort of rubbish?
