I was very fond of this song when I came out to France in the late 'sixties.

  4. Well, I suppose it is a little bit insipid, but I liked it at the time! You have to remember that this was the era of folk music: Peter Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, Mary Hopkin, etc.
