If you don't want to remain "Anonymous" but don't want to go too far in the other direction, you can always choose the "Name/URL" option. Simply put in your name (or a name that is meaningful to me). You don't have to put in anything else. As an example, I've done this myself this time.
The real and only reason I use anonymous is because more than a year ago my google account somehow got bollixed and if I'm logged in and try to make a comment it won't take the comment AND I can never again even try to make a comment on that post. --- Just tried it and looked at it in Preview--seems to work. Thanks!
