Yes, Donald Duck seems to be the only one who actually enjoyed his stay there. Roald Dalh's name is handled very cautiously by Management since he wrote very vividly in his autobiography about how much he loathed the place.
No school suits every child but mine adapted seamlessly into Repton Dubai from their school in England five years ago. My son obtained 9 high grades in IGCSE (all 6 A*, 1 A and 1 B) last year and is now studying for the IB. My daughter is predicted to achieve similar results this year and has opted to board in England to do 'A' Level's as she has a strong interest in English Literature and Classics.
Haven't I told you that here, it is called ReptonWorld, and sponsored by Disney?

Perhaps that explains why there are no famous former pupils, apart from Donald Duck.

ReplyDeleteWhy do people love to hate Repton? How many famous people can graduate from a school after 5 years of it being open? Give them a break!

ReplyDeleteAnd I will say that my daughter's children have all adapted very well and easily to London schools after Repton Dubai.
