In Last Christmas (1984), Wham! is out of sorts. Who wouldn't? Consider the facts:he gives you his heart and - you won't believe this - the very next day, you give it away!
That's the song, but I prefer to dwell on the accompanying and far more cheerful video. Wham! and his friends are vacationing in what can only be described as a winter wonderland. Wham! himself is all smiles and I have never seen his hair looking more kempt or kempter.

The only problem is that the tune is annoyingly catchy and I can't get it out of my mind. The only remedy is to find another tune that is even catchier. But what?
Here it is! Whatever you think of the song, it's difficult for people of my generation to watch Paul and Linda without getting a lump in the throat. Happier times!
