The Jaundiced Mr Dunn

Like many towns and villages in France  nowadays, Brazey-en-Plaine sports its own electronic message board giving details of forthcoming events and other information. A recent message enjoined us to be vigilant as burglars were in town. It reminded me of road signs warning motorists to look out for falling rocks, leaping deer and low-flying aircraft...

Forthcoming attractions at Brazey include a thé dansant (tea dance). Just in case there were any doubt as to the sort of clientele expected, the message was thoughtfully subtitled Age d'Or.

I wonder what comes after Golden Age. Stone Age perhaps?
