Time for a Change

 


Having successfully grappled and come to terms with the time change, and eventually worked out what this means in a changing world, I made the mistake of tuning in to the radio. Here I was greeted by a veritable tsunami of news on the RTL station. Perhaps it was the early hour, but  it seemed to my untutored and overwhelmed ear that the journalists were speaking faster than ever, with results that can only be described as lethal.

All in all, I am at one with Count Dracula in appreciating this time of year. Like the Count, I look forward to the shorter working day and longer nights when I can spend less time locked in the cupboard and more time with the creatures of the night.
