Encroaching dreams

In the past, I took leave of my dreams as soon as I awoke, the worst nightmares instantly vanishing without trace. More recently, however, they have started to accompany me to the door, and in the last few days have escorted me outside and pursued me down the street. It sometimes takes me several hours to break free of their heavy grip.

    Do you actually remember these dreams in any detail or is it more a feeling of "something" still being with you?
    Of course, you could be going mad ????

    I don't remember the dreams, doctor, it is the sense of doom and dread that pursues me for long periods of the day.
