I wonder when this use of the verb "to grow" came in.

ReplyDeleteVery often we don't even notice it has, or more likely it isn't evolving so much as some words/expressions achieving a new temporary meaning courtesy of Yoof Speak.
I think true, lasting evolution perhaps has to originate from a respected source though.
Me/myself seem to have changed places, but to me that seems more like bad grammar.
And I/me/myself am extremely sorry that we seem to have lost the original meaning of 'gay', but that is an example of true evolution.
