I've just been perusing the obituaries in the New York Times. The lives of the people concerned are of little interest to me but their ages certainly are, and I have good news to report.
They go: 90, 83, 76, 81,87, 88, 84, 80, 91, 94, 90 and so on. What does this mean for you and me? It means that if you can just sneak into this section of the NYT you can look forward to a long, if not necessarily happy, life.

ReplyDeleteYour latest blog post is reassuring especially reading it this morning after my first Wimbledon Common jog for a while.
At 64 I assume from your blog post that your are guaranteeing me another 20 years or so. If you are wrong - I'll sue!
At least another 20 years, Jerry!
