ReplyDeleteYour "career prospects" post to the right of the above is one of your best posts. Funny (but beware as people say that my sense of humour is peculiar) though the French economy is not I think as bad as you make it out to be so your retirement is not yet due.
I admire the way the French keep the national interest to the fore for example the protestations about the proposed huge US fine for a national French bank. Hardly even a grumble from the UK government about Barclays etc being fined.
Then the French national interest comes to the fore again when its nuclear power station provider becomes a possible take over target by a foreign company. UK nuclear power provision was sold off to all and sundry abroad with little outcry years ago.
No I think that the Palace is only going to brief you to work harder - no medals yet.
