Was this a 'Lords' year? Presumably you won. And come to think of it I remember I came to cheer you on. I'm sure Bernard would never have allowed me the time off (he wouldn't allow me to go to Wimbledon when Nicky gave me a ticket) so I must have developed a bad go of flu.
Gerry Green to your left in the photograph I think became captain of the School in my time. Subsequently he and his wife lived for a while in Wimbledon where I got to know him again for a while. He was a pediatric surgeon I think and subsequently moved to Glasgow for a senior medical post.
