Amidst scenes of wild, almost hysterical indifference, somebody called Mickels was voted winner of the prestigious Star Academy award for artistic talent, thereby eclipsing the beautiful but equally talentless Alice from Marseille. With a bit of luck, this will probably prove to be the last of this concept which has been going downhill since a certain Magalie was unleashed on a suspecting world three years ago. On the other hand, it has ensured gainful employment for the likes of Nikos and Armande (who now requires a minimum of five hours in the bathroom before she is ready to confront an increasingly cold and hostile world).
Oh! don't be so snide, Barnaby! Talentless and feckless as they all are, they are no worse than you with your cheap, smug comments delivered from the safety and comfort of your house in the marshlands of the Saône Plain.
