Things To Do

With Anne away on a mercy mission in Dubai, I am left alone with an endless list of Things To Do. Chores, more like it. The trouble with Things To Do, in my experience, is actually drawing up the list of Things To Do, and I have yet to find a system that complies with my own particular brand of sloth. I have tried various note books, slips of paper, visiting cards thoughtfully provided by Julia, and several online “task managers” including the one now built into Gmail. Of them all, Julia’s cards seem to suit me best but even here, at some point between my decision to note something down and the moment my pen hovers over the chosen interface, my brain has become a complete blank. I simply can’t think of ANYTHING, except for some strange reason “batteries”. Not that I need any but they sound the sort of item to be included in any self-respecting list.
