The Western Canon

 

With more time than ever on my hands since my enforced retirement, I have at long last been able to indulge my dream of reading all the seminal works of the western canon. But now that I have finished the books of Zane Grey and Luke Short, what am I supposed to do? There's precious little on TV to excite the intellect of one such as mine, at least not in the evening. "Why don't you spend more time transcribing your grandmother's diary?" I hear some of you say.

That's a good idea. I think I'll do that.
