If I were to change the title of this blog from "The Subliminal Mr Dunn" to, say, "The Sensational Mr Dunn" or "The Fabulous Mr Dunn", would it make a blind bit of difference to the interest generated by the site or by my ability to "monetize" it? Probably not. The last time I looked I had monetized - just a minute while I check the exact figure - yes, that's right, I had monetized £0.00. On the other hand, if I were to call my blog "Inside Number Ten", "Mrs Thatcher's Diary" or "I caddied for Terry Wogan", I have a feeling that my viewing figures would go right up, such is the nature of our celebrity-crazed culture.
