The Winter Olympics

To Vancouver where some of the worlds finest watches are performing live. Rolex was conspicuous by its absence, perhaps exhausted by its recent efforts on behalf of Roger Federer and Sir Sean Connery (incidentally, did you know that Connery, spelt connerie, means bullshit in French?). But Omega was very much in evidence and I look forward to its impeccable timing of the figure skating events.

I was a little perplexed by Omega's commitment "to record for future generations the valiant attempts of the young men and women of the world to go faster, higher and stronger". Faster and higher, yes, but stronger?
