In Denial

Denying that you are getting old. Denying that you are eating too much. Denying that you are starting to smoke too much. Denying that your memory is vanishing at a rate of knots. Denying that the younger generation is just as intelligent as ours. Denying that the climate is changing almost out of recognition. Denying that politics is becoming a branch of the entertainment industry. Denying that the cable I bought to connect my iPad to a TV was a bad purchase because the display is only in black and white. Denying that I am addicted to the Internet.

I think that life would be impossible without a large dose of denial.
