It was only a matter of time before the capital's NFL franchise decided to change the name of the Washington Redskins to something more appropriate. The management spent a lot of time trying to find something more suitable and less contentious. After a lot of soul-searching and discussion, everyone agreed on the following name:
The D.C. Redskins.
