The Nobel Prize for Literature

One of the nice things about the Nobel Prize for Literature is the way the panel alternates in its choice of winners between household names such as Herta Mueller, JM Le Clézio, Orhan Pamuk, Elfriede Jelinek, Imre Kertész and Gao Xingjian, and obscure writers like Doris Lessing, Harold Pinter and V.S. Naipaul.
